Handheld Night Vision Camera Design
Spirit's PanthIR II™ handheld camera provides
night vision capability for civilian, and paramilitary
surveillance, detection and protection applications.This
handheld thermal camera can be used for rescue forces,
law enforcement, and night-time perimeter surveillance
of sensitive sites and areas such as national borders,
pipelines, oil terminals, power stations, communication
transmitters and prisons. It enables the user to detect
a person at a distance of 300 meters and a vehicle at
a distance of 900 meters.
The PanthIR II™ Infrared Thermal Sensor can also
detect overheating and fires before flames and smoke are
visible, which makes it the perfect Infrared camera for
firefighters offsite observation.This makes it a highly
cost-effective device for early-warning and/or predictive
maintenance in power stations and in industrial process
control.
